All of City Theatre's official show posters are designed professionally by an outside company, but additional signage is created in-house for events, lobby displays, etc.
For the recent premeire of The Muckle Man, I created a sign for the bar advertizing a special offering, the "Muckle Man-tini." The font was chosen to imitate the overall PR campaign for the show; the floating man photoshopped into the glass was also from earlier posters.
I made the second poster to look like "Gilbert's Myspace Page." It was blown up and put in the lobby to draw attention to the fact that the playwright had penned a blog in the voice of one of the characters.
