During Black History Month in 2005, Scotch'n'Soda put on a student-written one-act called Black Idiot Box, along with Steve Martin's WASP. The plays were performed back to back on the same set in a cramped conference room.

The shows marked my first and only attempt at set design. Given the space we had to work with and the fact that the plays were by nature uncomfortable, I designed the set to impose on the audience.

Actual photos of the set will be uploaded shortly. For now, here's the original hand-scrawled groundplan and a 3-D rendering of the plans.
